Okay, I can’t believe how time and miles are flying.  I suppose it is because I’m having a ball.  Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see the first leg of our tour.  We’ve had a wonderful time this far – from a kind send off from out hometown in NC, a summer night with Emmylou in Atlanta, late nights at the bar in North Hampton, and Maine seafood chowder dockside and a little relief from the heat in the rain (Thank you, sweet audience, for staying put.  I am convinced you all have seafaring rain gear).  Jay Brown drove nearly the whole way, and though we worked very hard, I’m not sure I’ve ever had so much fun playing music onstage and off.  I’ve taken one deep breath at home and done some laundry and am back out again, writing from backstage in Ohio on tour with Mary Chapin Carpenter who has been spectacularly kind to me.  This picture is from the sculpture garden where we played last night in Grand Rapids.  Beautiful night.

The family is back in the van again next weekend.  I really can’t wait.  We surely hope to see you there.

Hello hello and welcome to the new tm.com…We are frantically packing our bags and cleaning out our fridge as we set out on a bunch of new adventures in about a week.  I’m so very excited about See You On the Moon, and very excited to be back out on the world rocking my new Beltone amp.  See you soon.  xo t
